Estamos Fracasando

ESTAMOS FRACASANDO
WE ARE FAILING
The story has finished
has come to its end
The shadow of this world
Which begins to die out
The girls have not saved
This place so grey
There is no way back
And we are failing in all our attempts
Power is winning and beating our dreams
Our way of living
shortens more and more
And we are headed
To a fast end
The boys have not saved
This place so grey
There is no way back
And we are failing in all our attempts
Power is winning and beating our dreams
We are failing.
We wrote this song due to the defeat and frustration feelings that are with us in these last months. We put our look and heart in Chile, Greece, Rojava… We observe we have a lot to learn from every people in struggle and they give us hope.
We believe the time to give it all a spin has arrived. In our day-to-day, in our community, in our towns and cities...We can´t let time pass anymore; the situation is unsustainable.

Pisadas (Confinament)

PISADAS (Confinament)
FOOTSTEPS (Confinement)
Dawn falls going around and around
Time goes by slowly and the streets sleep
Tiredness takes hold and thoughts do not stop talking
Time goes by slowly and the streets sleep.
Only my steps can be heard
And my stifled breathing
Only my steps can be heard
Silence invades in this darkness
Time goes by slowly and the streets sleep
The pressure in your throat which doesn´t let you breathe
Time goes by slowly and the streets sleep
Only my steps can be heard

Siluetas vacias

SILUETAS VACIAS
Y no encuentras tu lugar, estás perdida
Y no encuentras tu lugar,
sigues perdida.
EMPTY SILHOUETTES
You are looking for a place that is impossible to find
You look everywhere
and see it doesn´t exist anymore
This feeling of loneliness you can not control
And you can´t find your place, you are lost.
Empty silhouettes walking through the city
Building relationships lacking affections.
You are looking for a shelter to protect yourself
But carings are just one word more
This feeling of loneliness you don´t know if it´s real
And you can´t find your place,
You keep lost.
Empty shapes walking through the city
Building relationships lacking affections.
Disappointments we have with close people sour our day-to-day. Generally speaking, we live very fast and we don´t dedicate enough time to each other. We miss the feeling of community, doing things all together and for all and not just by and for one´s self, sharing, the mutual, not to want to be more than the others. This is why this lyrics came out, because sometimes (not always, luckily) we feel we don´t belong to the place where we are and we feel alone.

Sobrevivir
01:30
|
|||
SOBREVIVIR
Dejar a tu familia, buscando
una oportunidad
No hay elección, huir y escapar, no hay otra opción,
que es lo que vas a soportar?
Sobrevivir tu único objetivo
no hay opción, no hay otra salida
Llegar a costa y encontrar desigualdad
Y una opresión constante del
racismo estructural
No queda ninguna otra opción
SURVIVE
Leaving your home standing up to adversity
Leaving your family, looking for
an opportunity
There is no choice, flee and scape, there is no option,
what is it you will stand?
Surviving your only goal
ther is no option, there isn´t any other way out
Arriving to the coast and finding inequality
And a constant opression from the structural racism
There is no choice, fear and terror, living in tension,
Where is your opportunity?
Surviving your only goal
there is no option, there isn´t any other way out
There is no choice. Scaping from CIES or prison looking for a chance
There isn´t any other option
Surviving your only goal, there is no option there isn´t any other way out.
To all the people who suffer and die trying to get a better life either in a fence, a desert, an ocean, in the so-called refugee camps, in the CIES (inmigrants internment center), in deporting flights or in the streets of our cities.

INSURRECTION
Unruly outbreaks starting to happen
People in an uproar defending themselves again and again
The growing military move forward without regard for anyone.
And the protest is reaffirmed
After so long waiting for the insurrection to arrive
The angry people at so much precariousness
have begun to fight and resist, organizing themselves
The new fascisms advance without consideration
And the revolt continues
After so long waiting for the insurrection to arrive
These past months have been a period where various social fronts have been activated. Street struggles, resistance from native communities and revolts in the Latin American territory. This panorama makes us think of a cycle of rebellion that is breaking through again in Latin America. Some revolts in the light of others, under the premise of the confrontation of social classes. The communities of the Abya Yala continent (name accepted by the native peoples to name America and which would mean "Land of vital blood") rise up making noises cause silence is not made for those resistant people. The world, instead, turns its back. We look the other way, including many social movements or militant organizations; We continue to hide behind our groups, believing ourselves to be judges of the court of the revolutionary, and throwing our accusing finger at what the world's outcasts should do. In the two decades that we’ve been in this 21st century, an increase in the organization of marginalized communities, native societies and the precarious youths of capitalism in the peripheries of the system can be seen in Latin America. We are not talking about outbreaks of rage exclusively, we are referring to authentic processes of offensive and construction of autonomy by social movements in Latin America.

RECUERDOS
MEMORIES
Memories are diluted. You don’t recognise who’s in front of you.
The story of your life that you can no longer tell. It’s over.
Suffer no more and don't you cry cause this pain will soon go away.
Concepts are confused. You don’t know what reality is.
Your life don’t depend on you anymore. It’s over.
Suffer no more and don't you cry cause this pain will soon go away.
Not being able to decide when and how to die when contracting a terminal illness such as Alzheimer generates infinite suffering and pain in the same person and family, and which is often perpetuated over time.
We believe that the legalization of euthanasia as a universal basic right is necessary so that each person can decide how to die with dignity.
In remembrance of all people with Alzheimer's disease, their families and dependency caregivers who work for poverty wages and in shitty conditions, a situation that has come to light with the Covid-19 health crisis of 2020.
TAL VEZ
MAYBE
Maybe for you there is a tomorrow
So long time that you can dive into it
Maybe for you there is a reality
So much time you can waste
But the truth is there is only the present
What you do today really matters
But you don't really know it
You think about changing, but you’re far away
You may think this is not the time
That distance you always believe in…
How many times do you think you can still do it?
AGITADORAS
Agitadoras.
AGITATORS
Freedom is what the church wants to control
Torture and burnings were difficult to dodge
The hunt was its end
They fought hard and refused to accept
The kind of fight they were forced to carry
Equality died, insurgency was born
And that was the end of wisdom.
Agitators.
IT’S OURS
He found an exit and could no longer be accountable
He stopped and without thinking… an abyss in front of him.
Here we keep fighting much more broken than yesterday.
Recollecting his smile, which is forever ours.
